In the face of sappy confessions such as: Even my blind adoration for this book couldn't quell the urge to stick my finger down my throat).īut what really makes the book for me, is the the fact that despite quailing before the Hotness-that-is-Julian. I admit, when I read it this time around, there were moments when I rolled my eyes (especially in those umpteenth times when Julian confesses his love for Jenny, and how he feel in love with her because of how *good* she is. (I'm reviewing from the 2010 Simon and Schuster omnibus - but I like this cover better)
